There is another climber above Yaretzi on the forbidden peak of Khumjun Ri. It copies her every move, always exactly one step higher, and the wind erases its tracks before she can reach them. Her sister's final radio call, six years ago, described the very same thing.
- Part 2: The Route of the Dead
C1 Spanish · 6 min read
Over a dying radio signal, Noé lays out the coordinates twice: the ones Yaretzi has been reporting, and the ones her sister transmitted six years ago. They match, waypoint by waypoint. Whatever is climbing above her knows exactly where that route ends.
- Part 3: Two Hundred Meters from the Sky
C1 Spanish · 7 min read
Two hundred vertical meters below a summit no one has ever touched in winter, Yaretzi finally learns why her sister's radio went silent six years ago.
